Education: Ministry to work with the “Written Exam” in the recruitment of teachers

National Education Ministry is willing to return to the “written exam” in the organization of the recruitment competitions in the pedagogical sector, and end the work with the oral exams, in order to meet the demand by the provinces’ DOEs, regarding the return to the “old system”, provided that it will assign the task to the offices of competitions and examinations, because they have experience in the field.

 On the other hand, the ministry is obliged to open the largest number of new financial posts for the recruitment of teachers in the three phases, to fill the vacancy.

Informed sources told Echorouk that the heads of the services of exams’ services and schooling at the level of Directorates of Education in provinces, have asked for the application in return to work with the old system in the organization of the national recruitment competitions for admission to the rank of professor in one of the three educational stages, through programming “written” exams for the benefit of candidates, on the grounds that this system requires the availability of exam centers, guards and centers for correction only, on the other hand “oral exams” will be completely abandoned, and they are haunt the directorates due to lack of experience for the relevant committees with equal members, in the field of “studying the files”, on the grounds that they are working outside their field of specialization, and thus the commissions make great efforts to achieve justice among all candidates by giving each one his/her right, which makes the directorates of education in the “mouth of the cannon” every year, and they fall into the errors due to ignorance of the laws, and they are hurled with various “charges”.
