Education: National Committee to implement the programs is obliged to announce the baccalaureate threshold

Independent National Council for Teaching Users in the three phases of Education pressurized the National Committee in charge of assessing the extent of the implementation of programs, for the official declaration in the shortest possible time, on the “reference lessons” that are adopted for the BAC exam, which will start on June 7, confirming that if the ministry will not identify the “threshold”, some parties will use the situation before and during the exam to cause chaos like what happened in the baccalaureate 2013.

National Secretary in charge of information and communication at the Syndicate of the Independent National Council for the users of teaching sector in the three educational phases, Messaoud Boudiba, told Echorouk, that the Ministry of National Education should not be ashamed and should recognize the fact that most of Wilayas did not complete the programs, especially in basic modules like physics, Arabic literature, philosophy, science and mathematics, because of several factors, and the most important cause is the natural conditions and bad weather which made it difficult for pupils and their teachers to move to their educational institutions, and thus the lessons continuation was delayed, pupils’ protests in the south over “shale gas”, as and strikes of professors which lasted for weeks, stressing that the “threshold” identification is not a defect, but a need that is imposed by exceptional circumstances that are inevitable.

National Secretary in charge of information and communication at the CNAPEST, sent an instruction to the Ministry of National Education in general, and the National Committee in charge of assessing the progress of the lessons for the final classes, in particular, saying that the time has come, and the situation has become very convenient to announce officially on the reference lessons that are concerned with the BAC exam 2015, the “threshold”, in order not to let the opportunity for anyone “hidden parties” which may take advantage of the situation before and during the exam to disturb pupils and push them to bring chaos and confusion, such as what happened in the baccalaureate of June 2013, when many pupils in various centers in several provinces created chaos and destroyed public properties, and attacked teachers guards, protesting against what they described as the difficulty of the exam questions in philosophy and ethics, and the introduction of tranquility in the hearts of the candidates across the entire national territory, especially since they live on their nerves since the Minister of National Education, Nouria Ben Ghabrit announced on a decision to cancel the “threshold” in an official capacity, and to provide a comfortable environment for them.
