Education: No threshold for the BAC exam 2015, Minister Benghabrit says

Education Minister, Nouria Benghabrit, vows to work with the same procedures for the BAC exam, but the threshold which she decided to abolish, while she granted the social partners a five months time limit to evaluate the secondary education stage.

Benghabrit said, during her meeting with education independent syndicates on Tuesday, that no reforms will be included for the BAC exam, trying to send a message through the social partners to the final sections pupils to calm them after they protested in many cities asking to abolish the threshold, therefore, any decision that is taken during the current year will not be applied until the coming school year, after ending the evaluation of secondary education.

Benghabrit presented, during the same meeting, content of the ministerial publication n• 15-23, relating to the evaluation of the secondary education that is considered an extension of basic education reform, according to a modern system through adopting a new strategy that is based on three axes.
