Education personnel's social services frozen

National Secretary in charge of information and communication, at the Independent National Council of the Users of the Teaching Sector in the three educational phases, Messaoud Boudiba, told Echorouk that all new services and projects, that are directed to the staff and workers of the education sector are “frozen” until the election of the local committees and the National Committee for Social Services, which will take place tomorrow on the level of educational institutions, with the exception of projects and services which the deliberations implemented.

With regard to the financial report that was presented by the National Committee for Social Services, which term ended during the meeting that was held in the presence of the Independent Trade Unions of Education, the official in charge of Information and Communication, confirmed that the outcome of three years was presented, particularly those related to 544,000 beneficiaries out of 600,000 employees on the national level, of the various services, which is a record number compared to the past years, which is the positive point that is calculated for the previous committee which term ended.

CNAPEST recorded some of the gaps in some financial sums that were paid in an ambiguous way, as the commission was asked to submit financial reports to be more “accurate” and “detailed” at the same time, stressing in the same context that, despite observations that were submitted, but the audit process in financial matters remains the prerogative of the financial control services like the public finance inspectorate, and the Independent Syndicate of Education has no power to do that.
