Education: Public Service excludes the successful teachers to start the new School-year

General Directorate of Civil Service started through its local directorates in choosing the lists of successful candidates in recruitment competitions for professors that was organized last March, so that it eliminated many successful after the completion of the quick control by Directorates of Education in the process of studying the files. At a time when the candidates are victims of these abuses, as they found themselves excluded away on the eve of the new school-year’s start.

Informed sources told Echorouk that many candidates across the country, who participated and succeeded in recruitment competitions for admission to the rank of teacher in one of the three educational phases, and who have benefited from the “pedagogical mandatory” training for a period of 15 days in the institutes of training for trainers and improved their level, are now surprised because the directorates of Education informed them on the eve of the new school-year entry that they are excluded at the decision of the General Directorate of the Public Service, and that they did not succeed.

“These abuses occurred due to the rebellion in some school directorates in provinces, but not at the Ministry of Education instruction that included the need for quick monitoring of the candidates’ files that were deposited and scrutinized before the final and official announcement of the results, to avoid mistakes.

 But what actually happened on the ground is that the services of the directorates started the publication of lists of successful without the civil service instruction, and considered that the list of successful is also concerned with the training, while the regional inspectorates of civil service sent a correspondence to the education directorates that are concerned and National Education Ministry stating the serious abuses that it lifted and registered in a detailed report to ensure acceptance of the files that do not match absolutely with the Ministerial publication which sets the certificates and qualifications that are required for employment in the pedagogical corps, and scandalous errors in the calculation of professional experience, which made the public service resort to cancel the lists that were prepared by the Education Directorates, and announce on new lists for the successful after completing the quick control.
