All pupils who did not succeed in the BAC 2015 are allowed to repeat the year, both for those who did not repeat and even for those who repeated the year, provided that they should show good morals with respect for the decisions of the Sections’ Councils, Education Minister, Nouria Benghabrit said, during a meeting on the ministry’s headquarters, on Tuesday, with the Independent Education Syndicates, for assessing the school year 2014/2015.
“I will give the opportunity for all pupils who have never repeated the year, in addition to pupils who already repeated it, under the condition of showing good behavior and respecting the Sections’ Councils decisions, especially for repeaters in a baccalaureate, on the grounds that their number has doubled this year compared to previous years, I.e; 400.000 repeaters.
Ben Gabrit also recognized the difficulty of the next school year as a result of the outstanding problems, and asserted that the ministry did not achieve the planned rate in the Educational Directive 04/08, which is 70%, especially as it has been to achieve the proportion of only 51 percent, which led to the need to intensify the efforts to achieve the achieved ratio.
“I was able to achieve some of the demands of the employees and workers of the sector, and I’ll continue to work diligently to resolve the remaining problems, in order achieve further gains that will be disclosed in the bilateral meetings with the syndicates, at the end of August.”
“A special competition for officials of the Education Ministry will be launched, particularly for Computer Engineers on the August 27, Education Ministry has been able to recover some technological institutes of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which are 20 institutes and are now open again.”
