Education: Scandals of the baccalaureate 2015 are not a coincidence, Pupils' Parents Association says

President of the National Organization of Parents, Ali Ben Zina, said in a phone interview with Echorouk, that the way the pupils took the smart phones to the classrooms, and then took it out to take pictures of the subject, and then send them to receive solutions, and take notes on the paper then go out, as all of this happened in a matter of only 20 minutes, wondering about the presence of guards, which would confirm that the topics were raised on Facebook before entering the classroom, and its owner was comfortable and not a pupil who conducts a fateful test.

“Fraud of some professors guards is very far from the fraud of pupils, and the best proof is what the exam center, Mohamed Metlili, experienced in Tebessa (eastern Algeria), for example, where some guards tried in front of pupils in sections, to help the son of a MP in solving the subject of the exam, the behavior that was not tolerated by one of the pupils, and to express his anger he hit his hand on the glass window, causing wounds, which led to transferring him to hospital, and after his return the same professors refused to let him enter to the classroom to complete the exam, only after the police governor’s intervention to allow him to enter the center”.

Education Ministry opened an investigation in the incident. 

Ben Gabrit’s statement showed that students have more than a mobile phone, Ben Zina responded: “Education Ministry is reponsible for that and the government which allocated financial cover to install jammers. We asked for these devices since years ago, and we said that they are the perfect solution to suppress fraud, even in the seasonal exams, let alone a fateful exam, and under the terrible development of technology, even wristwatches became smart and are used like cell phones.”
