Education: Situation of successful candidates in employment competitions settled by the Ministry

Education Directorates in Wilayas will resort to the use of candidates who succeeded in employment competitions in the sector of teachers within the “reserve lists”, with the possibility of settling their status once and for all, including replacing professors who are registered in retirements, death, transfer or concessions to the successful during the school season.

Hundreds of successful teachers who are in the reserve lists, are registered in the National Employment Competitions that were organized recently by the Education Ministry, especially in the secondary phase, who will settle their status once and for all, so that they will be appointed at the beginning of the school year as replacing teachers, but later and immediately after registering the cases of retirement, death, and transfer to other Wilayas, or concessions to the successful, during the next school year, and will receive the decisions of the appointment of demarcated teachers, revealing in the same context that this decision is considered the first of its kind, that has been taken by the National Education Ministry, in order to cover the big deficit in the pedagogical positions, once and for all, especially after the large retirement movement that is defined by the sector on last March, in order to avoid resorting to “prosthetic” and “temporary” solutions, which does not feed the hungry mouths, especially those relating to the “contracting”, in order to realize a stable school entry.

Sources from the Education Directorates summoned the successful teachers in employment contests within the reserve lists, to come to their headquarters and receive the appointment decisions as “replacers”, starting from July 29, pending the resolution of their status once and for all.

It is known, that the announcement of the results of successful in recruitment competitions for admission to the rank of teacher, in one of the three educational stages, was delayed for two consecutive times, because of the process of blocking the process of studying the candidates’ files, due to their large numbers at the national level, especially since the process coincided with the launch of the three official exams, which disrupted the work of the relevant services at the level of the civil service in the exercise of control over the files. So that some education directorates have had to show off in front of the National Education Services, to announce the list of successful in part without censorship of the civil service, while other districts merely announce the successful lists in one stage without the other stages.
