Education: Weak, medium marks in the first day of correcting the

Actual correction of the answers of baccalaureate exam candidates started on Tuesday, amid a flagrant lack of correctors, as the deficit in each module reaches 60 teachers, a problem that will delay the correction process to more than 10 days, Echorouk sources said.

“Candidates’ marks on the first day in various modules varied between weak, medium and excellent.”

Teachers who are not concerned with the correction were summoned in the stoppage time, with a view to cover the disability, in contrast other teachers preferred to start correction at 7:00 am instead of 8:30 without stopping, so as not to oppress any candidate and give each one his/her right .

Same sources asserted that the candidates’ marks in the first day of the correction, varied between very weak, medium and good in various modules, as the results will be announced on July, 10.

In contrast, the correction centers began in the collection of the candidates’ papers for the exam of the middle school graduation, through removing the personal data of each candidate and replace them with confidential numbers, in order to preserve the credibility of the graduation, as the papers will be transferred to the correction centers, where the next July 4 will be the date of announcing the results through the official website of the National Office of Examinations and Competitions.

It is known that every teacher is asked to correct 400 papers between the first and second corrections, due to the high number of candidates which doubled compared to the previous years, due to the arrival of two batches of pupils to the third year of secondary school, which led many teachers to go to correcting the papers of candidates who belong to the University of Ongoing Training, on the grounds that the process easy unlike the baccalaureate for considerable sums of money.
