Emirati company wins $1.1 billion contracts to build gas separation plant in Algeria

UAE-based Dodsal company Monday announced that it won a $ billion contract to set up a Separation and Compression Centre in Algeria

“The contract includes the execution of a Separation and Compression Centre in the area of Hassi Messaoud,” said the company in a release

Algeria extracts oil in many fields accompanied with quantities of natural gas. They are separated through separation centres.

The Emirati company will implement the plant construction plans along with raw material and instruments supply and employment.

The plant is expected to be completed by 2020, according to the release.

The project would produce 66,000 oil barrels per day.

Dodsal operates in the Middle East, East-Africa and India. It deals with engineering and construction for heavy projects and infrastructures, engineering consultations, maintenance services, oil and gas pipelines setting up.
