Energy minister Salah Khabri Thursday said foreign companies operating in Algeria do not benefit from special prices as the State does not differentiate between consumers.
Speaking about fuel distribution, the minister said the problem was resolved by measures taken by the government and Sonatrach.
“The government works on ending this problem. A set of measures have been taken to raise fuel production capacity which decreased due to imports fall,” he told Parliament.
“The government works on raising storing capacities. It enlarges centers capacity, establishes new centers and transportation pipelines. This would raise the total storing capacity to more than 2 million square meters by 2020,” he added.
