EXCLUSIVE: “Arab casting”, the largest program for acting talents, two Algerians reach the first qualifying

Echorouk TV will launch, as of Friday evening, the broadcasting of the first episodes of “Arab Casting” program, which is aiming to discover new actors in the Arab world.

Echorouk program will be broadcasted, and simultaneously, by the TV channels “Abu Dhabi” from UAE and the Lebanese MTV.

Thus, with this unprecedented step, Echorouk TV channels, which confirmed its leadership locally and in the Maghreb, has achieved its desire to reach the heart of the Arab World, through entering as a key partner in the production and broadcasting of Arab programs with the prospects of 2016.

Ali Fodil: “We aim to reach the Arab World”

For his part, Mr. Ali Fodil, General Manager of Echorouk Media Group, said “Echorouk 2” will broadcast the “Arab Casting” program, and at the same time, it will broadcasted on large Arab channels, adding that this is the real beginning for the production of Arab programs, series and contests with a large production.

“We are keen to confirm the Arab affiliation and dimension of Echorouk channels; therefore, we will launch this unprecedented step locally and in the Maghreb region. Today, we thank Allah; all polls confirmed the viewing ratios both in the month of Ramadan or during other months. Now, we are in the forefront of the audiovisual sector in Algeria. So our ambition is showing the image of Algeria through the Arab world.”

“There is no doubt that we have competencies in the television presentation, and we have Algerian talents in various fields, but they were waiting for the right environment to put them under the spotlight. Today we launch a partnership for broadcasting this program, which deals with the discovery of acting talents. This will be a prelude to our entry as an effective partner in the production of programs with Arabic dimension, and we will reveal them later on.”

Algerians will participate in the program

“Arab casting” program’s Arbitration Commission will be headed by the Egyptian actress, Ghada Abderrazek, along with the Syrians Qusai Kholi, Bassel Khayat and the Lebanese Carmen Lebbos, and two Algerian talents, who are the humorist Zoubir Balahmar, who already provided many videos on “YouTube”, and the actress Souhila Mallem, who is one of Echorouk discoveries, after the channel presented her as the heroine of the series, “girl and boy” then the role of “Sultana Abla” in the sitcom “Achour X”. Certainly, the program’s broadcasting on an Algerian leading channel that enjoys a high-viewing rate like Echorouk, will raise the roof of the voting for Souhila Mallem and Zoubir Belahmar, and then it may ensure their arrival to the final stage at least.

It is worth mentioning, that all the episodes of the “Arab Casting” program are filmed in Lebanon.

The same thing would be for direct primes, as the three channels (Echorouk TV, Abu Dabi and MTV Lebanon), will broadcast the first episodes as of Friday evening and over the 12 weeks.
