Five importers smuggle 5.5 million euros and 3 million dollars in the name of poor people

Economic and financial police opened an investigation into the embezzlement of around 100 billion centimes in hard currency to a bank in the Gulf by 5 importers.

The suspects used commercial registers in the name of poor people in return for 100,000 DZ for each register, Echorouk has learnt.

They imported different goods with false customs declaration and fake documents.

Investigations showed that 5.5 million euros and about $3 million were embezzled in a month and a half. The suspects convinced 7 victims to allow them to use their commercial registers in return for 100,000 for each.
