FLN’s Central Committee includes 12 ministers
Number of ministers who are members of the Central Committee of the National Liberation Front (FLN), reaches 12 Ministers of the total 32 in the fourth government of Abdelmalek Sellal, while the number did not exceed six ministers in the list that was read by the chairman of nominations and appeals committee, Said Badida, in the last day of the 10th conference.
First list of ministers included the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Taher Khaoua, the Housing and Urbanism and the city Minister, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Agriculture and Rural Development Minister, Abdelkader Kadi, the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Taib Louh, the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Taher Hadjar, and Abdelkader Messahel, the Maghreb and African affairs and the Arab League Minister.
Second list includes both of Public Works Minister, Abdelkader Ouali, the Health, Population and Hospital Reform Minister, Abdelmalek Boudiaf, the Energy Minister, Saleh Khebri, the Transport Minister, Boudjemaa Tatli, the Water Resources Minister, Abdelouahab Nouri, and the Minister Moustafa Karim Rahil, who is also the Director of Office of the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, who was described by the Secretary General of the Party as the militant.
Nominations Committee made sure to leave 15 vacant posts in the Central Committee during the conference, which made it possible to add new ministers to the list, a list that contained the file that was deposited at the level of the Interior and Local Groups Ministry, in order to obtain a certificate of conformity, which is considered as a legitimate instrument of the 10th Conference.
With this conference FLN party has strengthened its presence in the government, while other names in the current government are likely to join the old party as militants, like the PM, bringing the number of FLN ministers to more than 13, noting that unofficial sources revealed that the Post, Information and Communication Technologies’ Minister, Imane Houda Feraoun, and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Tourism, Amar Ghoul joined FLN.
