The Ministry of National Defense has decided to straighten out the status of those young citizens of the 2008 class born between the beginning of January 1988 and December 31, 1988 and those of the grades from 2009 to 2013 born between the beginning of January 1989 and December 31, 1993, as well as those who graduated from previous grades and who wrapped up or forsook their studies on 31 December 2014 and are not in a position of disobedience towards the national service.

The Ministry’s Directorate thus urged the people concerned to get in touch forthwith with their national service centers or offices in order to settle their situation vis à vis the national service.

The beginning of the relevant process is scheduled from 12 until 16 August 2018.

This applies to those citizens born between 1 January and 31 March and 19 to 23 August 2018 for citizens born between 1 April and 30 June and 26 to 30 August 2018 for citizens born between 1 July and 30 September and finally from 2 to 6 September 2018 for citizens born between 1 October and 31 December.

According to the statement of the Ministry of National Defense of which “Echorouk” received a copy, the parties concerned are compelled to get in touch with the national service centers and offices accompanied by their ID cards and the level certificate according to the schedule determined by the National Service Directorate.

The Ministry of National Defense has announced that national service centers are open to receive persons aged 30 years and over to settle their status towards the national service, according to the specific schedules of each category on the basis of dates of birth.

The National Defense Ministry also confirmed that the national service centers across the entire territory are open and ready to receive and take in charge all those concerned in accordance with the movement schedules specified for each class of draftees.
