Free Wi-Fi in 50 Road Stations for Passengers
Transport Ministry approved a new project that aimed to generalize the use of the free Wi-Fi and unlimited Internet, across more than 50 passengers’ stations across the country, pending the launch of the electronic bus ticket which will enable the traveler to book his ticket from his/her home, as the process will be launched by the end of the current year.
General Manager of the public company for the exploitation of the Algerian Road Stations “Sogral“, Charef Mohand Said, told Echorouk that his services received instructions in this matter from the Transport Ministry that requires the generalization of the free Wi-Fi and unlimited connection 24/24 hours across all of the road company which are currently 56 stations.
“Unlimited free Wi-Fi is currently operational across 12 road stations, like Algiers, Jijel, Ain Temouchent, Mostaganem, Bechar, Tamanrasset, Tindouf and others, where the traveler can connect freely at any time and without any limits, while this service will be operational in Constantine (eastern Algeria) and Bayadh stations soon.
