Guaranteed minimum wage raise will not touch pre-employment workers
Algerian work minister Mohamed Ghazi Tuesday said pre-employment workers will not benefit from guaranteed minimum wage raise as they are not permanent in their position.
The minister stressed the necessity of checking the truthfulness of medical leave.
“False medical leaves cause serious losses to the Social Insurances National Fund for Wage Earners. Measures should be taken to check their veracity,” he said on a working visit in the province of Blida.
“Services offered to insured workers. Their number reached 16,000 in a year on a center in Blida,” he added.
He also urged authorities in the province to ease procedures for residents to get macro-loans to create small enterprises.
