Haj will cost 35 million centimes this year
Algerian religious affairs minister Mohamed Aissa Sunday said the final cost of haj this year will be fixed in a cabinet meeting late in March.
The minister is expected to meet with a delegation in charge of preparing for the current haj season 1436 and give necessary instructions on Monday.
He said Saudi authorities will pay catering and transport fees as part of accredited specifications. The ministry will accredit 45 touristic agencies to organize haj season.
Haj and Omra official at the National Union of Touristic Agencies Lyes Senoussi said hadj cost this year is likely to reach 35 million centimes.
Speaking about touristic agencies, he said the State will avoid big problems by relying on them. “Some technical data related to hotels are known only by touristic agencies. They can deal with pilgrims’ request.”
