High temperatures on Eid El Fitr days, exceptional procedures on beaches
Eid al-Fitr will coincide this year with high temperatures according to meteorological forecasts, what makes the beaches on the Algerian coast more attractive for holidaymakers even on the Eid El- Fitr days, as the sub-director of operations at the Directorate General of Civil Protection told Echorouk, in a phone interview, that the presence of 19.000 agents during these two days, like the days of the summer season, which began from June 1 and will end on September 30.
According to the spokesman, strict instructions were ordered by the heads of guard centers across 14 coastal Wilayas to protect the holidaymakers during the days of Eid El Fitr regardless of their number, and to take all necessary measures, as a large number of Algerians is expected to visit the beaches.
Civil Protection ensures the existence of agents to protect holidaymakers and guard them from drowning on Eid Al Fitr from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, which are times of work over the summer season, and special teams will raise awareness among vacationers, especially since most of them eat a lot of sweets during the first day of the feast.
Sheikh Farhat told Echorouk, that the temperatures are expected to reach this weekend 37 ° C on the Algerian coasts and will coincide with Eid El Fitr days, and in the western and central inland cities it will reach 43° Celsius, like in Tizi Ouzou, Ain Defla, Relizane and others.
Temperatures are on the rise, starting from Thursday, as they will reach 34 degrees Celsius on the coasts, 39 and 40 degrees in the internal cities, to reach on Friday 41 and 42 degrees in the cities of hills and will rise on Saturday according to meteorological forecasts, to 36 and 37 degrees on the coasts, and 43 ° C States in the internal cities.
