Ibn Chakib helped David Silva to smuggle quintals of drugs to France
French Bordeaux court issued an international arrest warrant against the Algerian dual nationality resident in Morocco, after being suspected of involvement in the international cell of drug trafficking in Europe, and to refer his case to the Algerian justice, because the French security services seized, at the level of the border with Spain, a convoy of three tourists cars that were carrying nearly 500 kilos of cannabis which were heading to the French territory.
Investigations that were carried out by the French authorities, revealed that the Algerian accused was involved in the smuggling after the confession of the accused, one of is a Spanish called “David Silva”, and the second is French called “Ibn Chakib”, as they received a request for help from the accused to smuggle the drugs in his car and enable them to penetrate the border in return for money.
French security services found, after the inspection of the Spanish accused house, the documents that confirm the deposit of sums of money in Euros at the expense of the Algerian accused wife.
According to Sunday’s hearing at Algiers El Harrache Court, the defendant was convicted previously by the French justice in cases of drugs, as INTERPOL handed him over to the Algerian authorities, which began its investigation in the present case at the level of El Harrache court by the 3rd room’s investigating magistrate, which referred the file to trial after Eight months of investigation, and charges of money laundry from the proceeds of crime and drug trafficking, based on what was provided by the judicial authorities at the Court of Bordeaux, which proved its involvement in the attempt to introduce Moroccan drags to Europe.
