Immigrants condemn begging to transport the bodies of deceased

Despite the public authorities adopted the last Finance Act, to ensure the financial guarantee of transferring bodies of the deceased immigrants abroad to their homeland, but the suffering still continues and did not yet apply an action on the ground, as immigrants continued to resort to begging and collecting money, in order to collect funds for the transfer of deceased loved ones abroad and burring them in homeland, which sometimes reaches a value of 4,000 euros.
Representatives and heads of associations for Algerian community in the French province “Rhone Alpe” told Echorouk that the Finance Act via Article 78 provides that the expenses and procedures for the transfer of bodies of migrants to their homeland, like Taher Zeroual, who is the head of the Assembly at the same province, and who asserted that so far no action was taken and legal substance remained just ink on paper.
Federal associations of Algerian community in the provinces of “Rhone-Alpes, Ovarni and Burgoni” sent a correspondence to the Consul of Algeria in the French city Lyon, which copy is obtained by Echorouk, asking for an explanation of the application of the article that included mechanisms of transferring bodies which have long been waiting for the Algerian community abroad for years.
