ISIS’s Algeria Wilayah exists only on Internet, says report

A new security report ranked Algeria 26th among countries concerned by terror threats posed by ISIS thanks to national army’s vigilance.

The same report said the ranked countries should raise vigilance level and alert state as the terror organization seized any opportunity to carry out attacks.

The report was conducted by international intelligence departments. It ranked Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Nigeria, Mali, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia and European countries among the 26 nations.

It shows that the so-called Algeria Wilayah organization exists only on the Internet.

Criteria taken in consideration by the report are: ISIS elements’ movement, terror messages, recruitment networks, terror sleeping cells, the number of activists and their position.

Morocco came before Algeria as it is visited by a large number of tourists belonging to nations leading a war against ISIS.

After the Paris attacks, western countries imposed new security measures. Airliners in Algeria and a number of Arab countries flying to Europe should send lists of passengers and their personal details.
