A court in Blida will hear Algeria’s former minister and MSP’s leader on Monday along with the National Labor Union’s Secretary General, public service former director and members of social insurance board of directors.

Sports team managers, sportsmen and deputy governor of Algeria’s Bank are expected to appear in court on June 2nd.

Judge Antar Menaouer will hear Sonelgaz’s CEO Nourredine Bouterfa, the brother of former minister Abu Djerra Soltani and Aigle Azur’s CEO Arezki Igrouidene on May 31st.

The number of witnesses in the Khalifa Case reached 282 including died people such as Air Algerie’s former General Director Tayeb Benouis.

The judge committed to summon all the witnesses regardless their positions. Yet, he asked to read the 2004’s hearing reports submitted by the examining judge as former finance ministers Karim Djoudi and Mourad Medelci were absent.

He explained that some officials can not appear in court due to their occupation while the list of witnesses did not include any name of other ministers.
