Large movement in sector of judges, prosecutors and Board Chairmen to be launched soon

Supreme Council of Justice ended the elimination of preparing a list of transfers that will touch more than 700 judges, General Attorneys and Board Chairmen, and is waiting for a delegated signal from the first judge of the country, President Bouteflika, to the Justice Minister, Keeper of the Seals, Tayeb Louh, to preside over the Council’s meeting, which is scheduled during the last week of August.

In contrast, the Justice Supreme Council is currently working to study its needs of qualifications, to support the Council of State and the Supreme Court, as it will announce on the movement of remittances and upgrade on September.

Echorouk sources said that the General Secretariat of the Justice Supreme Council asked the judges and general prosecutors to prepare as from the last week of August, in anticipation of holding its regular session for the annual movement in the justice.

The sources added that the agenda of the session which was prepared by the Council’s Secretariat also includes consent to the assignment of judges to retire and to extend the service to others.

Green light is expected to be given to the members of the Council for qualification and promotion according to the groups, grade and function.

Movement, according to the same sources, will include more than 700 judges, General Attorneys and Board Chairmen, a movement that was described as “large”.
