Leader of the Islamic Salvation Army, previously called FIS Party, Madani Mezrag, opened fire on the outlawed FIS leader, in his response to the accusations that were heaped by the latter with respect to the non-possession of legitimacy to speak on behalf of the party’s rules, as he attributed to himself the cause for saving the FIS and its leaders from a bloodshed in the nineties of the past century, warning all those who insulted him of revealing ‘dangerous things.

Mezrag added in a phone conversation with Echorouk, using a strong language, in response to the recent statements by the leader of the outlawed Islamic Salvation Front, describing it as an assault and forgery of history after the end of the war, and wondering about these statements that are made in this time in particular, after 15 years of full adoption of civil reconciliation, which has led to the deployment of hundreds of terrorists from the mountains.
He addressed Djeddi saying; “I was surprised by your statements.. I wonder why you didn’t say such words before 15 years, since you were among those opponents of the policy of civil harmony and reconciliation? , showing his resentment of doubting the credibility of its legitimacy in the outlawed Party Foundation, reminding of his efforts in defending the FIS and its leaders, and rescuing them from serious deviation, which threatened them by the GIA Organization, saying; “we saved the front, so as not to be a terrorist organization”.
“After the front leaders enter prison, the FIS remained our responsibility. As the conference produced a new consultation council that was led by Abdel Kader Ali Hachani, as everyone admitted his legitimacy, including Abassi Madani and Ali Belhadj”.
“After the arrest of Ali Hachani, a crisis cell that is led by Mohamed Said, Sheikh Cherrati and others. It’s task was the mapping of the establishment of Islamic Salvation Army leaders with the blessing of majority of leader to face the growing danger of the Armed Islamic Group organization, which was seeking to involve the front in terrorism.”
