Matteo Salvini: “$1 Billion To Deport Illegal Immigrants, Employ Them In Africa”

Italy Interior Minister, Matteo Salveni, said he would visit Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria soon as part of a tour to combat illegal immigration.

He revealed that his country would allocate $1 billion for economic projects and investments in agriculture, trade and fishing in the Maghreb and Sub-Saharan countries in Africa.

“Illegal immigrants who arrived to Italy would return from where they came, with the acceleration of their deportation these countries, in exchange for economic aid”.

The Italian Minister who belongs to the far-right Northern League said in an interview with the private channel “Sky TG 24” that he is working to protect the southern border of the flows of “illegal immigrants” from North Africa and sub-Saharan countries, and for this purpose he will visit Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria soon without giving a specific date.

“Italy should return to the forefront in its relationships with these countries”.

“One billion euros will be provided to the Maghreb and African countries that involved in illegal immigration, to establish economic projects and investments in agriculture, trade and fishing to provide jobs for hundreds of thousands of people”.

“Economic aid to countries that are involved in illegal immigration will include articles in bilateral agreements, which provide for the immediate and unconditional deportation of its citizens from the Italian territory, in exchange for economic aid”.

According to him, the new legislation on the regulation of asylum would include provisions that provide for the immediate deportation of a political asylum seekers directly to their countries, once they are involved or committed any crime or misdemeanor.

Through these procedures and even after he left the post of Interior Minister, immigrants will come to Italy to provide the added value of this country
