Mohammed Issa: “Our battle against the promoters of homosexuality is more important than combating Daesh
False artists and intellectuals, who promote homosexuality and pornography through spreading immorality within the community without restriction, Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, said when he was the guest of “Forum” radio program.
“Future Algerian battle is not against Daesh and Crusader thoughts, but against those who encourage the deviation of morality and the dismantling of the Algerian family.”
The minister showed discontent of what he described as a large spread of homosexuality in Algeria due to the invitation of semiconductor artists and intellectuals, warning of the national and social strife, through the strange and growing call, and the risk of hearing to strangers who use social media to spread false ideas about Islam.
“Ministry arrested the Koran teacher and imam, on the backdrop of their belief of the existence of a messenger after the Prophet Mohamed, peace be upon him, calling upon imams and the general public to refrain from taking matters of religion and the world through strangers who spread false knowledge on the Internet.”
“Talking about the involvement of some imams in non-ethical issues is baseless. This campaign intended to distort the reputation of Imams. The Imam or teacher is a university graduate, and received a two-year training to be in this rank, and the ministry has developed a monitoring committee which task is monitoring every small and large details, and take strict action against the imams who are involved in such issues”.
