The National Gendarmerie High Command has started all over its provincial groupings receiving employment files, with job opportunities being made available for the first time for the youthful Baccalaureate laureates in the 2015 session, with a view to becoming Officers after a 4 year-training period and obtaining an LMD Bachelors’ equivalent degree in 27 specialties.

In other words, the leadership of the National Gendarmerie, through its numerous regional groupings has already embarked on receiving files from young baccalaureate laureates who secured an mark average at the exam ranging from close to “good” to at least 12/20, and when their files are endorsed, they will undergo a four-year training first for one year at the Cherchell military Academy in western Tipaza province.

The three remaining years of this high-grade training for the future Officers will be carried out at the Issers High Gendarmerie School in eastern Boumerdes province and their sustained training will be finally crowned with an LMD Bachelors’ equivalent degree and the granting of the rank of Lieutenant.
