New measures to protect President’s Office
The President’s Office took new protective measures as President Abdelaziz Bouteflika signed a new decree to step up surveillance measures.
The decree contains 16 legal texts. It aims at protecting the surrounding of the President’s office and determine security rules.
The surrounding is the “land, air and maritime space out of the President’s Office. It is under special security measures. It can be organized in the form of many zones,” says the decree.
It forbids any flying action on the surrounding using helicopters, balloons or any other planes. It is not also allowed to set up any device which can threatens sites surrounding the President’s Office unless a permission is issued.
The State’s budget will cover the surrounding security-related costs.
