New techniques to face organized crimes and child kidnapping in Algeria

Algeria’s National Police will introduce new techniques in criminal investigations to face criminality, child kidnapping, cars stealing and drug traffic.Director of the National Institute of Criminal Police Abdelkader Chraitia said training in criminal investigation is in the process of improvement to face criminality.

“A total of 10,118 policemen took trainings in 1999-2015 and 4,361 in 2012-2015. That means 1,090 trainees per year,” he told Echorouk.

 Studies director at the Institute Sid Ali Riahi said the number of training sessions as part of international cooperation reached 145 for 4,063 trainees.

The Institute director said training plans are prepared by National Police Department.

Police commissioner at the National Police press cell Nabil Benabdallah said the Institute provides new techniques to find exact results. It also offers services in support of human needs to fight criminality.
