No Algerians among London attack victims
Algeria condemned Saturday’s London Bridge terror attack, showing its solidarity with the UK’s government and people.
Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, a spokesman for the Algerian foreign ministry, Sunday told Algeria News Agency (APS) “the UK was targeted once again by a cruel terror attack.”
“We remain confident that the attackers will not be able to discourage people and communities in the fight against terror. In this difficult time, we express our solidarity with the UK’s government and people,” he added.
He also said Algeria is ready to continue working with the international community to eliminate terrorism.
No Algerian victims
The official said the attack did not leave any Algerian victim.
“According to preliminary information, there is no Algerian among the victims. The Algerian embassy and consulate in London are in permanent contact with British authorities,” he added.
