President of the National Assembly of Algerian exporters, Ali Bai Nassri, accused the foreign oil companies that are active in the Algerian south, of violating Sellal’s instruction about supplying its needs of industrial equipment and raw materials from national dealers, if they are available in the Algerian market.

“Large numbers of foreign companies resort to importation and reject the acquisition of the national product, despite the existence of a considerable number of Algerian companies that produce this type of products and exported it even abroad.”

“The foreign companies deliberately violated the government instruction, and resorted to foreign market for import, which it called as the step that was well studied to destroy the national product. Higher authorities intend to intervene and investigate in the excesses of these dealers, knowing that the most important countries from which the companies that operate in Algeria import their equipment, there are Spain, Italy, France and America.

“There are excesses of fixed laws in Algeria along the lines what is prescribed by the Supplementary Finance Act of the year 2009. A large number of foreign traders who entered the Algerian market after 2009 and in for production, as stipulated in the contract that was signed between them and the authorities, as well as the employment of local labor, they did not abide to the contract.

President of the National Association of Algerian Exporters considers that most of these violations were committed by the companies of producing the cleaning detergents, and companies that operate in the field of energy equipment in the south.

“Foreign dealers did not fulfill their pledges of recruiting Algerians, and did not produce locally and contented themselves with imports from abroad and re-marketing the imported goods in the domestic market.”

“Authorities should re-clean the national market from chaos and barbarism that took place after opening the field in front of foreign investors, in the past two decades, and with much more degree in recent years, under the pretext of bringing experience, competence, technology and training of the Algerian officials. Government prepared a national structure with the names of foreign companies that have been able to prove their efficiency in Algeria and the expulsion of the rest of the dealers outside the national market.

Previously, Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, and before him the former Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, prevented the import of industrial materials that are produced locally from abroad, and ordered the companies that are active in Algeria to deal with local producers to  supply their needs.
