Ould Khlifa: Morocco will get nothing by accusing Algeria
Algerian Parliament’s speaker Mohamed Larbi Ould Khlifa Tuesday said Morocco will gain nothing by accusing Algeria regarding the Western Sahara issue. “Algeria is ready to help the Moroccan Kingdom to get out of this problem. It sincerely believes that Morocco’s stability will lead to Algeria’s stability.”
« On behalf of the Algerian people, Parliament’s members assert Algeria’s solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their fight for self-determination in accordance to the UN charter principles and the international legitimacy resolutions,” Ould Khlifa told Parliament.
“The settlement of the Western Sahara issue is a big step to animate the Arab Maghreb,” he added.
Speaking about the President’s letter on the 53rd Independence Day anniversary, Ould Khlifa said it reaffirm trust in future and the President’s respected commitments towards the Nation.
“Dialogue about the country’s objectives and priorities between partners will protect Algeria and contribute in expanding participative democracy,” he said.
He also said Algeria will not be considerably affected by hydrocarbons price perturbations because it took many measures. It paid its debts and provided foreign currency reserve.
“It is necessary to change mentalities, encourage savings and entrepreneurship.”
