Party of the Rally for National Democracy (RND) decides to boycott the political initiative that was launched by Ammar Saadani at the beginning of last week about forming a front to support President Bouteflika, and because Saadani refused to join Ahmed Ouyahia’s initiative to create a pole.

Ouyahia told Saadani; “No … and each of us has his initiative, and we will let every endeavor takes its course until the passage of days.”

In a diplomatic way, RND’s Secretary General, Ahmed Ouyahia, chose to respond to his rival’s initiative, the General Secretary of the National Liberation Front, Amar Saadani, who refused to respond to the invitation of the latter arguing that each one has his initiative.

RND’s General Secretary, Ahmed Ouyahia, presented the file on the members of his party, the decision to refuse again the alliance with the Front.

According to Echorouk sources, Ouyahia has spoken to the members of his office for the need to work on the political maturation of the initiative which he launched, on his return to the party’s secretariat, in a veiled reference to his refusal to dissolve his initiative within Saadani’s, and which agree on supporting President Bouteflika.

Three weeks after clearing the task of the Director of Security and Intelligence Service Maj. Gen. Mohamed Medine, and ending his duties at the head of the intelligence services by President Bouteflika, a procedure that was preceded by the restructuring of this service, Ouyahia gave his point of view in these changes, and said before the opening of the meeting of the national office, on Friday, at the party’s headquarters; “I’m surprised of the readings and interpretations of the changes that were made by the President in the intelligence services. Is it possible that the President intended on cracking this sensitive service”.
