National Gendarmerie leadership started the implementation of the “dolphin” plan, which aims to ensure the security of public places, which is witnessing a considerable influx of the citizens, and to ensure the comfort of holidaymakers, and secure the transport network, where more than 45,000 gendarmes, who are charged with ensuring the security of beaches during the summer season.
According to a statement of the leadership of the National Gendarmerie, which copy is available to Echorouk, this security strategy for the beaches allowed citizens to swim, to ensure the security and control of all areas that will notice a significant influx of holidaymakers, and mineral stations, tourist and archaeological sites, and mountainous areas, 72 forests and entertainment areas at the national gendarmerie region.
Air squadrons of helicopters of the National Gendarmerie that is based in center, east and west of the country, will implementation the program of a private air sorties in order to ensure the support of the units of the national gendarmerie that is operating in field, to ensure aerial surveillance of the beaches and nearby roads, and the delivery of all necessary information in a timely manner, which would ensure the conduct of effective movement of traffic and ensure public control of the territory.
According to the leadership of the National Gendarmerie, the latter guaranteed security for more than 74% of the total number of beaches, where swimming is allowed, with a total of 272 beaches at the level of 14 coastal cities across the nation, as 166 centers who belong to the National Gendarmerie were opened across the entire beaches that are located within the territory of the National Gendarmerie, where the centers always notice the recruitment of the potential for the various units, in order to secure the safety of the major gatherings, cultural events and entertainment in all the rest, recreation, the shores of the sea areas, in order to enable tourists and families to spend a safe summer vacation.
