Public Health Practitioners: “We fear Boudiaf decisions are only circumstantial”
Head of the Syndicate of Public Health Prectitioners, Ilias Merabet, fears the decisions of Health Minister, Abdelmalek Boudiaf, to close hospitals circumstantially, are dictated by television investigations that shocked public opinion and proved the reality of scandals and accumulations which the sector noticed for years.
“Reports were submitted over the years to several ministers who led the sector, but nobody listened. We hope there will not be decisions to close the private clinics, especially the maternity services, in spite of their size and the services that are provided circumstantially. Granting of credits, the book of conditions and rigor with the laggards from the owners of the clinics should be reviewed by the ministry.”
