Recruitment Contests Organized By National Gendarmerie With 17 Specialties For Laureates
The National Gendarmerie Command announced on Monday the opening of recruitment contests for the beefing up of this constituent corps and revealed a special guide for determining the conditions of participation in these contests of commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers.
Those wishing to join the ranks of the National Gendarmerie should deposit their files at the level of relevant teams and regional groups deployed throughout the national territory.
One of the general conditions for joining this para-military institution stipulates that the candidate must possess Algerian nationality with a maximum age of 18 years and enjoy physical fitness, in addition to having a bachelor’s degree and a corporal height of at least 1.70 meters for males and 1.60 meters for females and 1.75 meters for the category of motorcycle riders.
For the category of active officers whose training’s duration will last 5 years, the candidate must have a baccalaureate for the current year with a grade of at least 12 to 20 in the literature, philosophy, foreign languages, experimental sciences, economics, mathematics and technology.
With regard to conscription on the basis of the certificate, applicants are required to be at least 24 years old on 31 December 2017 for Masters’ holders and 22 years maximum for holders of a Bachelor’s degree.
In a related context, the National Gendarmerie has identified 17 study specializations, under which recruitment will be carried out.
This will include: Master or Bachelor of Law, Master or Bachelor of Science in Management, Master or Bachelor of Science in Biology, Plant Biology, Master or Bachelor of Entomology, Master or Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Science in Education, Master or Bachelor of Psychology, Master or Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, Master or Bachelor of Sociology in Criminal Science, Master or Bachelor of Physics, Molecular Physics, Master or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Master or Bachelor of Mecatronik, or Master degree in chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, or Master degree in mathematics, or Master degree in botany.
