Religious Affairs and Endowments Minister, Mohamed Aissa, described the people who used Islam as a cover to commit crimes against humanity and kill the soul that Allah has forbidden, except with having the right to, as animals and ignorant, in a clear reference to the terrorist organization which is called Daesh.

Aissa clearly represented the official position of the Algerian government over the assassination of the French journalists.
“Bouteflika and government do not accept distorting the religion of Islam by groups that kill lives in the name of religion”, this came through the speech, which the minister delivered on the occasion of the activities of the National Week of the holy Koran, which kicked off on Monday in Oran (western Algeria).
He asserted in his speech in front of Algeria guests, including Sheikhs, Koran Readers and Doctors from several countries of the Eastern Arab and even African countries, on the recent developments which all the world noticed.
“Acts and massacres that are committed by groups which claim religion, contributed to distort Islam’s image in the world, because tour peaceful religion is incompatible with the language of killing and torturing”, supporting his talk by some of the Koran verses and Hadith that are in their entirety focusing on the necessity to show tolerance and pardon, and to provide the most beautiful images of coexistence with all other religions and ideologies.
Aissa returned to what is happening in several Arab countries, from violence, murder and executions in the name of Islam, and allowing infringement of the human soul that Allah granted a prestigious status”.
“Islam is innocent of the barbaric acts that happen here and there in Arab countries like Syria, Libya and Iraq”.
Concerning Algeria’s participation in the rally, which was organized in Paris against terrorism, on Sunday, Mohamed Aissa, said; “I am with the participation of Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra in the rally”, which was attended by dozens of world and Muslim leaders in Paris in solidarity with the French state and the condemnation of terrorism”.
