Reports: Shehata would be MCA d’Alger’s new coach

According to news reports, MCA d’Alger football team’s new manager Kamal Kaci Said reached a deal with Egyptian coach Hassan Shehata to replace Kamal Mouassa.

Echorouk News Monday reported that Shehata agreed with Kamal Kaci on everything. The Egyptian coach is waiting for the visa to come to Algeria and start working.

Shehata is a well-known coach in Egypt. He was nicknamed ‘Maalim’ (the Boss) after he had led his national team to win the African Cup of Nations three times consecutively. Yet, he failed with clubs he had trained either inside or outside Egypt.

Kaci Said Monday told a news conference in Algiers that he did not decide about MCA’s current coach. 

Mouassa’s contract with MCA expires in November 2017.
