Famous British writer, Robert Fisk, said in his comment on Manchester terrorist attack, that the example of moderate Islam is embodied by Prince Abdelkader Al Djezairi, in the 19th century and not by ISIS.

Fisk, who is specialized in the Middle East matters wrote an article in The Independent newspaper, saying : “Algeria is the birthplace of Emir Abdelkader, Libya’s neighboring country, which is the origin of the suicide bomber against Manchester in retaliation for the American attacks in Syria, where Prince Abdelkader died”.

The author of the article said that ISIS does not represent Islam and Muslims can be the focus of respect for the world, showing a reflection of the person of Prince Abdelkader Al Djezairi (Algerian), describing him as a Muslim, Sufi, Sheikh, human, fighter and defender of people against Western brutality and he protected Christians as well.

“Emir Abdelkader saved 15,000 Christians, making him an example of Muslims and was admired by Westerners”.

“Brutality should not be the response to terrorist attacks in all parts of the world. As long as the West attacked the Middle East, Western countries will also be attacked”.

“As long as we plant death in the Muslim world, we will reap terrorism, fear and insecurity”.
