Said Bouteflika Participates In Algiers Solidarity Sit-in For Boudjedra
President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s brother, Said Bouteflika, took part in a sit-in that was organized by a number of intellectuals for solidarity with the great writer nad novelist Rachid Boudjedra, out of the Audiovisual Authority doors in Algiers Didouche Mourad Street.
Said Bouteflika stole the spotlight through his sudden decision to participate with dozens of Algerian intellectuals in the sit-in, in solidarity with Boujdedra, after the very embarrassing situation that was exposed in the program of a hidden camera “Rana Hekmnak” (we catch you) that was broadcast on Ennahar Tv channel, as they considered what happened to the writer as insulting an important figure of literature in Algeria.
The president’s brother participated only a few minutes and approached the writer Rachid Boudjedra, who attended the sit-in and expressed his regret for what happened before leaving the crowd of protesters.
