Sellal: Bouteflika keeps track of everything
Algeria’s Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal Monday said there is no discussion of the legitimacy of the State’s institutions. “Those who eyes the President’s Office should wait until 2019. The head of the State keeps track of the implementation of his program.”
In response to opposition parties which criticize the President’s silence, Sellal said the government is in charge of developing the country and looking for solutions. “It does not have time to deal with disturbing problems which hinder development process.”
This comes as a total of 19 national personalities asked to meet President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. They want to make an inquiry about the last decisions whether they were made by him or not.
“We say to those who criticize us for not having a plan that the President’s electoral program is a community project. He will not deviate from this road map which is implemented step by step under his direct supervision,” said Sellal.
“Algeria has its own constitutional institutions and elected instances. We reject any discussion of their legitimacy. We want no more of attempts to hit the country’s stability and raise doubts among people. Who wants to be President, he should wait,” he added.
