Sellal’s ministers ordered to justify 2015 expenses
Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal gave an instruction to ministers to submit a detailed report about the 2015’s expenses to the Court of Auditors, according to finance commission chief at the People’s National Assembly.
The Court of Auditors will use the report to keep watch on budgets, Berabeh Zebar told a news conference on Tuesday.
He added that a large number of wrongdoings should be ended. The Algerian trade ministry noted that there is an absence of laboratories in charge of checking imported goods. The Algiers Port is not provided with cameras as well.
Speaking about the government’s decision to ban the Square currency black market, Zebar said his commission is against informal economy and illegal trade.
The decision came upon security reports and the commission is not allowed to intervene. It will contact the Algerian finance minister Mohamed Djellab to find out an alternative and solutions to replace the market.
