Tayeb Louh: “Tiguentourine file is Algerian, Algerian justice is independent”

He refused to comment on the results of the British investigation on the case.

In response to the press questions, on the sidelines of the voting session on the Penal Code at the National People’s Council, on Thursday, with regard to the British investigation on Tiguentourine terrorist attack, and the judicial correspondence that was sent in this area to the British justice, he asserted; “Algeria has a strong justice and an independent justice.”

“We have spoken repeatedly in these issues. I have already spoke about the Algerian justice, it is independent”, but he avoided to talk about the Tiguentourine attack or directly comment on the correspondence that was sent to Britain, especially concerning the British investigations of the terrorist attack on the oil companies in Tiguentourine, which were published recently and raised a lot of controversy in Algeria and Britain, which wanted to find in this case a new means to pressurize Algeria”.
