The National Education Ministry’s unexpected decision to reject the “temporary” success certificate submitted in their application files by thousands of job-seeking teachers has stirred a large-scale controversy as the deadline for the submission of the various files expired on May 12th 2015.

The national education ministerial department’s baffling move has triggered the utter discontent and anger of numerous candidates vying for recruitment as new teachers in the three school cycles as most of them had submitted in their application forms the provisional success certificate falsely believing that this testimonial document would be taken into account but unfortunately to no avail following the ministry’s recent instruction sent to the various education directorates in the four corners of the country.

This temporary success certificate submitted by thousands of candidates who are vying for the teacher-recruitment contest has been turned down by the relevant authorities as “unacceptable”.

The latter required that the official and final success certificate should be presented by the candidates in order to see their files be taken into account prior to the planned recruitment contest.

Knowledgeable sources told “Echorouk” that the various education directorates across the country have been enjoined to find a “legal way out” from this vexed quandary in order to allow these hapless candidates to sit for the upcoming contest in the hope of clinching a job as school teacher in case of success.
