TLS Contact Raises The Visa Handling Fee To 3750 DZD
TLS Contact Algeria Center for the handling of the visa applications’ fees to France in Annaba (eastern Algeria) and Oran (Western Algeria) announced the raising of the service’s fees that are related to the handling of the visa applications’ fee to 3750 DZD, which is equivalent to 27 euros.
TLS Contact said in a statement on its Facebook page, Sunday, that starting from the beginning of July on Sunday, a new fee will be applied for the service of handling the files to apply for a visa, and this in agreement with the French Consulate, which was determined at 3750 DZD after it was 3200 DZD.
“The rise is due to the collapse of the Algerian dinar against the euro, as the exchange rate of the euro in the Bank of Algeria reaches 139 DZD, and in the black market it reached 219 DZD, and with these new prices, those interested in obtaining a visa France will pay 11.800 DZD that includes the Visa costs that are applied by the French Consulate with the customer service fees.
The Center, which provides services to study visa files in Annaba and Oran, said that visa applicants can pay prepaid service charges at the TLScontact centers or one of the offices of Algeria Post across the national territory, and these increases came following the French Ambassador’s talk about reducing costs and not increasing them, as the price of fees that were applied by the new center “VFS Global” in Algiers, which started work since April, 9, was 3600 DZD (equivalent to 27 euros), as determined by the French Consulate and the fee is paid through one of the Algerian popular loan agencies, contrary to what was in place at the TLS Contact Center.
However, the change in the exchange rate and the decline in the national currency led to a rise in the cost of the service to 3750 DZD.
It should be noted that to this date no statement was made by the VFS Global about the increase in the value of services as announced by the TLS Contact Center. However, the new center in the capital, since its inception in the handling of the files of the France visa and through its official website set the price of fees by 27 euros and explained that the payment of the value in dinars depends on the exchange rate, which can change from time to time.
While the cost of studying the files on the French visa has increased, the visa applicants through the VFS Global center in the capital have recently complained about their files being denied, without obtaining the visa despite the prior granting in previous years, not to mention the difficulties in getting a date and a change in the required file.
