Tripartite to meet urgently to cope with the oil crisis
Tripartite parties, which are the government, the General Union of Algerian Workers and the Patrona, will meet next Wednesday, in Biskra (southern Algeria), in a new session that carried the number 17, on the agenda that focuses on: How to upgrade the national production, protection and support of investment, to develop solutions to the oil crisis, and to ensure the rescue exists from the Financial situation that is experienced by the country, especially after the President announced a “state of emergency”, and ordered the government to raising the level of preparedness to cope with the situation, which he described as dangerous for the first time.
According to government sources, this year’s tripartite meeting, will be completely different from the previous sessions, which most recent was held on February 2014, given the economic circumstances of the country, and the critical financial situation, which was produced by the oil market, and which made the incomes of the country fall by about 50%, which imposes putting urgent solutions to upgrade the national production, which is the main focus of the tripartite meeting, that will discuss a series of actions and items that are contained in the Complementary Finance Act 2015, and the legislative procedures that are contained in the Finance Act 2016, which are designed to ensure the incentives and facilities for the benefit of 15 strategic divisions, that are relied on to ensure passage to the post-oil era.
Agenda of the tripartite 17th meeting, and the 4th in the outcome of Abdelmalek Sellal as a PM, includes – along with classical files that it used to discuss like the business environment, industrial real estate, bank loans, improving the social situation and working conditions, and upgrading the national production file, after the government chose the industry to revive the national production.
