Two other clubs in race for Taider

Italy’s Sampdoria and Udinese clubs entered the race to benefit from Algerian international player Saphir Taider’s services this summer.

Sampdoria and Udinese are in the queue behind two other clubs: Italy’s Fiorentina and England’s Watford for Taider, Italian media reported on Tuesday.

Fiorentina ranked 8th in the Italian Championship 2016-2017 while Sampdoria occupied the 11th position. Udinese ranked 13th and Watford occupied the 17th position in the English championship.

Taider, 25, joined Italian club Bologna in summer 2015 in his second experience with this club. He was transferred by Italy’s Inter Milan for two seasons. A clause stipulates that Bologna buys the Algerian international player’s contract as from July 1st for 4 million euros. This means that Bologna’s managers will pay this sum to their counterparts in Inter in the beginning of next month. They will give Taider the go-ahead to leave if they receive more than 4 million euros.

Taider played for Bologna in 26 matches between 2016 and 2017. He scored four goals.
