A report released by the UK foreign office ranked Algeria among Arab countries which experience more stability. It was withdrawn from dangerous countries in terms of security.

Earlier in 2013, Algeria was ranked among dangerous countries following the Tiguentourine attack.

This comes as Algeria took security measures in 2015 foiling terrorist plans and killing a large number of terrorists.

The UK foreign office expressed its trust in the security measures imposed by Algeria. That allows British citizens to visit the country.

Security expert Dr. Ahmed Mizab said this kind of reports are based on security and diplomatic protection standards.

“In 2015, Algeria did not experience any big terror attack. It has considerable military capacities and cooperates with big countries in information exchange in terrorism countering,” he told Echorouk.

He added that Algeria managed to maintain its safety and stability.

“Algeria confirms its capacity of facing security challenges. The UK report encourages security forces,” he said.
