Al Qaeda arrested a Mauritanian intelligence agent

AQIM arrested an agent of the Mauritanian intelligence during his presence in Souk Tichfit (a popular weekly market) at the obrders with Mali last week end, Mauritanian security sources said.

Same sources added that the agent called Ould Mohamed Ali, is accused by Al Qaeda of providing information on the car that was attacked by the Mauritanian armed troops last week end, on Mali territories, after signing a deal between Mauritania and Al Qaeda to free the Mauritanian gendarme Ale Ould El Mokhtar who was kidnapped by terrorists in the desert where the main stronghold of AQIM.
